In the event the Consumer Electronic Show at the beginning of the year, Asus announced the Eee Pad Transformer and three other tablet. Asus this week will begin marketing the first tablet PC with Android 3.0perating system. The tablet comes with a USB port and is offered with a keyboard that also doubles as a battery backup.

According to Asus, the Eee Pad Transformer allows users to install the keyboard to change the tablet into a netbook. Keyboard installation also serves as an additional battery power supply for the tablet. The tablet itself has a battery life of up to eight hours and the keyboard gives more additional power up to eight hours.
