The first smartphone with a 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Andorid, Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Samsung Electronics announced its first smartphone running the latest version of the Android operating system, which is a combination of software for the tablet and smartphone in improving the competitiveness of the Apple.

Global launch of the Galaxy Nexus began in November and appears due to the increasingly fierce competition between Samsung and Apple Inc. in the industry market share of the tablet and smartphone.

Samsung and Google introduced a high-end models at an event in Hong Kong after the postponed last week, as a final tribute to Apple founder Steve Jobs. Apple is Samsung's largest customer for the microprocessor.

JK Shin, president and head of Samsung's mobile communications business said, "This will be our strategic products for the holiday season this year, just like the iPhone 4S recently on the market."
Google Android is the most widely used software platform for smartphones, controls up to 190 million devices, up from the previously reached 135 million by mid-July. Latest version of Android called Ice Cream Sandwich, which was designed as a single platform for tablet and smartphone.

The launch in Hong Kong, are shown the various features of Samsung's latest gadget, including Beam Android that allows two phones to connect with each other to share news articles back to the internet and Google Maps.

Samsung's latest device features a touch screen AMOLED super-sized high-definition and 4:56-inch 1.2GHz dual core processor. Other features include a new face recognition function to access the phone functions.

World number two handset maker stated, has plans to introduce a version of the Galaxy Nexus operates on the Long-Term Evolution (LTE).
