Since the emergence of the Xperia Smartphone Play to the market until today, PlayStation games are now available and can be downloaded through the Android Market. Xperia Play is the first Smartphone in the world that has been certified by the PlayStation.
However, the game has to offer for Xperia Play and in the near future. Not to mention coupled with a series of games that are developed specifically for mobile phones, but not included in the Android Market, like a game developed by Gameloft.
The developers have reported that it has signed a deal with Amazon to distribute Android games, where previously they offer their products to the users through their own application store.
Xperia Play has been released in the UK today, but will be delayed in some service providers in several other countries. The device is expected to arrive in America as well. Verizon Wireless is expected to take part, without notice when the exact release date.AT & T was also rumored to be taking similar steps.
In related news, it was reported that the PlayStation emulator, namely PSX4Droid, who was in the Android Market meanwhile, will be withdrawn by Google due to content violations.
