Research In Motion (RIM) now intends to support smartphones and tablets that use IOS and Android, no longer as before, which focuses on the BlackBerry only. Recently introduced the RIM BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, a mobile device management services that utilize the benefits of BlackBerry Enterprise Server technology, to track and monitor mobile and tablet other than BlackBerry.
Through the BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, RIM tried to maintain its grip on most business customers when they leave the switch on the BlackBerry and other devices more attractive. Fusion Mobile allows RIM to play a role in the business as well as government agencies, even if the BlackBerry is no longer used.
For RIM, it is also a sign of fundamental changes in how companies view the mobile world is only in recent years. Previously the company was determined not to open up core service to other platforms.
